Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field..
- In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations, FEMA, NCLT procedures, and other relevant laws.
- Strong understanding of funding raising, M&A, and secretarial due diligence. Leadership and management skills to lead and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to liaise with RBI, Banks, and other stakeholders effectively
Roles and Responsibilities:
Company Law Proficiency:
- Handle matters related to Company Law, LLP, and Partnership firms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and statutes.
RBI Matters:
- Possess expert knowledge in ODI, FDI, Debt funding, NBFC, and ensure meticulous compliance with RBI regulations.
- Handle FEMA matters, ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines.
NCLT Matters:
- Attend NCLT matters for compounding and other hearings.
- Liaise with RBI, Banks, and key stakeholders on various RBI compounding
matters
Funding Raising and M&A:
- Handle secretarial matters related to funding raising and mergers & acquisitions.
Secretarial & FEMA Due Diligence:
- Conduct secretarial and FEMA due diligence for various transactions.
Stamp Duty & Sub-Registrar Matters:
- Proficiency in handling stamp duty and sub-registrar matters.
Leadership and Management:
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills to effectively lead and manage the team.
Certificate of Practice (COP):
- Willingness to obtain a Certificate of Practice (COP).
- Additional Advantage (if applicable):
- Experience in IBC matters (Insolvency & Bankruptcy).
- Managed and represented before NCLT for various matters.
